Day 1 Tuesday 3rd
Fly from Australia to Dar es Salaam. via Dubai
 
Day 2 Wednesday 4th
14.30 pm meet at Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere International Airport ex. EK and transfer to city centre. Dinner and overnight Sea Cliff Hotel (Standard rooms)
Day 3 (4.5hrs) - Thursday 5th
08.00 am after breakfast, drive to Mikumi National Park. Lunch at Kikoboga Wildlife Camp. Afternoon game drove in Mikumi Park. Dinner and overnight at Kikoboga Wildlife Camp. This Lodge has some water holes where wild animals come to drink day and night. Very good for photographs.
Day 4 - Friday 6th
06.30 am early morning game drive in Mikumi Park. Before breakfast. Tea/coffee is served at the reception before you leave for game drive. Come back for breakfast at around 09.30 am. After breakfast, collect packed lunches and depart for a full day game drive. Packed lunches served in the bush near a hippo pool. Late evening drive back to Kikoboga Wildlife Camp for dinner and over night.

Day 5 (4.5 hrs) – Saturday 7th
08:00 am after breakfast back into the specially constructed 4WD vehicles (For taking good photos) and drive to Iringa.

Day 6 (Sunday 8th)
Visit missionaries etc. Wilolesi Hilltop Hotel
• Celebrate Mass in village • Bible College • Cathedral – Diocese of Ruaha) • Blind School
• Craft workshops (disabled workers)

Day 7 – Monday 9th - Depart to Tungamalenga Camp, Ruaha.
Day 8. (7 hrs) - Tuesday 10th
08.00 am after breakfast, collect packed lunches and continue the journey towards Ruaha National Park. Picnic on the way. Check in at Tungamalenga Camp before continuing for an evening game drive in Ruaha Park. Dinner and overnight at Tungamalenga Camp.
Day 9 - Wednesday 11th
08.00 am after breakfast, collect packed lunches and depart for a full day visit of the Ruaha National Park, renown for its herds of Elephants, Sable Antelopes, Lions, etc. Late evening drive back to Tungamalenga Camp. for dinner and overnight.
Day 10 (4 hrs) – Thursday 12th
08.00 am after breakfast, drive to Isimila Stone Age Site to see the extraordinary Pillars created by erosion through years. A curator will give a short history of the place before proceeding to Kitonga Inn for lunch. After lunch continue to Morogoro town for an evening guided walk around the town. Dinner and overnight at New Acropol Hotel (http://www.newacropolhotel.com) or similar.

Day 11 (8hrs) Friday 13th
08.00 am after breakfast, depart for the Great Selous Game Reserve, the animal reserve. Selous is known to be the biggest game reserve in Africa with a big population of elephants, lions, buffaloes, etc… Picnic in the bush followed by an evening game drive on the way to the camp. Dinner and overnight at Selous Camp.

Day 12 - Saturday 14th
Full day in Selous Game Reserve with game drive. Meals and overnight at Rufiji River Camp or similar.
Day 13 - Sunday 15th
After breakfast, – enjoy a boat safari along the Rufiji River. After lunch a half day of game viewing towards the Selous Grave, Selous Hot Springs. Late evening drive back to Rufiji River Camp for dinner and over night.
Day 14 (8 hrs) - Monday 16th
After breakfast, drive back to Dar es Salaam. Lunch at Holiday Inn or similar. Afternoon at leisure near the swimming pool. River cruise. Dinner and overnight at Moevenpick Hotel.
Day 15 - Tuesday 17th
After breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour of Dar es Salaam city by visiting the National Museum, the Makumbusho Village, the Makonde Carvings Mwenge Market and the Nyerere Cultural Centre. Lunch at the Hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Late evening transfer to Dar es Salaam airport for flight back home.
Day 16/17 - Thursday 19th
Arrive back in Melbourne (Allowing for time zones)
